This batch of lathe cuts are the first release for Drugula's Crypt Sounds and I couldn't be more excited to bring you each of these bands.
Heliophage had always been on my radar with their tone and horror-related art. When I saw the Evil Dead artwork and heard the latest material, I knew I had to work with them.
LOUD split with Psiloblunt - A sampling of two amazing lo-fi doom monsters. LOUD is LOUD. Beautifully distorted lo-fi doom. Speaking of beautifully distorted lo-fi doom, Psiloblunt bring an extra heavy tone and enough Sabbathian worship to make your ears smile.
Australia's Solemn Ceremony is one of many faces worn by Phil Howlett (Rote Mare, Lucifer's Fall, Caprahed, etc). This solo project stands out to me like all of Phil's work as some of my favorite vocals and doom riffage. You'll be seeing a lot of collaboration in the future!
Red Fountain - Unique in the world of psych-doom, these guys will record with anything they find and they make it sound damn good. Lo-fi Psychedelic Doom at its finest
Opium Church - Stumbled on these guys on Bandcamp. The artwork for this 7" really sucked me in visually then once the Electric Wizard worship kicked in I knew they were going to fit perfectly in this series
Much appreciation to all bands involved and anyone who makes a purchase of these albums. They may be short and a little pricey but I believe in these bands and think they're more than worth it.
